[Events at the Pottery Warehouse] Gosho Ayame
In mid-May, a rare iris called "Gosho ayame" blooms in the waterway that runs beside the parking lot of the pottery warehouse.
It is difficult to classify irises, calligraphy flowers, and Japanese iris flowers, but Japanese iris flowers have a dignified and elegant appearance.
The Gosho Ayame plant was acquired from a certain potter over 20 years ago.
At first there were only a few flowers, but over the past 20 years the number has increased considerably.
