The Autumn Pottery Market usually starts on Culture Day and runs until the following Monday.

[Pottery Market at the Pottery Warehouse]

This year, Touko held a variety of events both inside and outside the store, titled "Touko Pottery Market."
・15th Masayoshi Otsuka Exhibition ・13th Keiji Yaguchi Exhibition ・Pottery Collection: Tableware for Tea Ceremonies and Tableware for Rice Exhibition ・Veranda Market ・Doso Dowada Kiln Ethical Life Fair

Please check the special website for details.

[Doso Towada Kiln Ethical Life Fair]

This year, for the first time in about four years, we sold unique products from Doso Dowada Kiln.
The venue was the "Goda Yoshimichi Memorial Room," which exhibits the works of Goda Yoshimichi, director of the Goda Pottery Research Institute, the predecessor of Doso Dowada Kiln, and it was a refreshing space for the staff as well.

Unique items are all handmade by artisans at Doso Towada Kiln, but unfortunately, due to natural factors, some items are difficult to sell as authentic products.
We do not consider these vessels to be inferior, but rather want to see them as individual pieces, so we call them "unique items" rather than B-grade or outlet items.

[TOKO STREET]

The Toko store parking lot has now been renovated and reopened as "TOKO STREET."
There are rows of restaurant tenants, and a street-like path continues to the veranda of the pottery warehouse.
There are plans to add more exhibitors next spring.

[Touko's Online Pottery Market]

We wanted to allow those who could not attend the Pottery Market to still enjoy it, so for the first time at Touko, we held the "Touko Online Pottery Market."
The event will run until Sunday, November 12th, so please come and visit us.

A great number of customers visited the exhibition, and over 15,000 people visited the Touko store over the four days.
We will continue to strive to improve our services, so we hope you will continue to support us in the future.
We look forward to seeing you at the Pottery Market next spring.
