About TOKO CLUB
Touko has been running a gallery in Mashiko, a town famous for its folk arts, for about 50 years, based on the philosophy of "seeking true richness."
Pottery is created by combining the natural products of earth and fire with the imagination of the human artist.
Pottery reflects the unique culture of the land, including its climate, geography, and lifestyle, and can tell us many things through the object.
TOKO CLUB fosters a deeper bond between the pottery storehouse and its customers, allowing them to discover, discuss, and create together the charm of the production area, Mashiko ware, pottery, and crafts.
This is a community club unique to Touko.
There are no annual fees.
You can also choose to only use certain benefits.
We would be grateful if you would feel free to register.
I am looking forward to meeting you all.

The name AKACCO comes from the fact that the powdered Ashinuma stone, which is the raw material for the glaze "persimmon glaze" that is representative of Mashiko ware, is called "akako" (red powder). The pottery storehouse has been producing akako since the early Showa period and selling it nationwide.
