YOSHIFUMI OGINO

Yoshifumi Ogino

What matters most to me in creating is whether it moves my heart. A comfortable fluctuation, and the balance of where to add and where to remove.
One of my concepts is to express the Japanese animism that has continued since ancient times. I also create with the hope of making objects that will inspire people 100 or even 1000 years from now, just as we are moved by ancient pottery.
I would be happy if people cherished my work in their daily lives, nurtured it, and passed it on to the future.
