Biography

1972 | Born in Saitama Prefecture
1991 | Enrolled at the State University of New York at New Paltz, majoring in ceramics
1996 | Graduated from the Department of Ceramics at the same university
1996 |Participated as an assistant in the summer course at Penland Art School (USA)
1996 |Received a scholarship and began pottery making at Greenwich Pottery (New York, USA)
1997 | Return to Japan
1998 | Training in underglaze and overglaze techniques at Arita Ceramics College, Saga Prefecture
1999 | Completed training at the university and set up a kiln in Hanyu City, Saitama Prefecture
2005 | Moved to Konosu City, Saitama Prefecture
Up to the present
